Free Gypsy Jazz Performance by “Django in June” All Stars

Top musicians attending the week-long “Django in June” will be performing a free concert of Gypsy Jazz inside Thornes Markeplace on Thursday, June 18th from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

During the third week in June, for the past twelve years, Northampton is the center of Gypsy Jazz worldwide. The “Django in June” event brings together over two hundred musicians from around the world to study and perform Gypsy Jazz. The week culminates with two public concerts on Friday, June 19th and Saturday June 20th at Northampton’s fabled Academy of Music Theatre. Concert tickets are available through the Academy’s website.
