Kevin Hill's "Anthropomorphica"

Come join us for “Anthropomorphica”

by Kevin Hill

Using paper clay and antique found objects as the base for his characters, each comes to life in their own way...slowly sifting through vintage fabrics, threads, trinkets, to create and adorn each unique personality. Kevin's focus is on creating a mood, a story. That if each animal could speak, it would have a completely original view, something unique to say. Kevin tries to create a high level of detail, so if a doll is looked at from every angle, something new would be seen, something unexpected. Apart from the clay and glue, Kevin makes an effort to use only vintage, antique and found objects and materials to achieve the look that they were made a hundred years ago and only recently found.

Heather Maloney to perform a short, three song set at 7:00 pm.
